Brett Meltzer grew up in Phoenix, Arizona before he moved to Michigan to attend college at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Realizing his passion for law, after he graduated, he moved with his family to Florida and attended the University of Florida, Levin College of Law.

    After interning with the Office of the State Attorney as a Certified Legal Intern while in school, Brett Meltzer knew that he had a passion for trying and litigating cases in the courtroom. Thus after graduating law school, he worked as a State Prosecutor in Orlando to learn his craft by trying cases in the courtroom. After much success there, he was selected by the United States Department of Justice as a United States Attorney.

   He was appointed to that position by the Attorney General of the United States. Brett Meltzer is now in private practice zealously representing his clients in civil and criminal matters in Federal and State courts. He also works closely with other local attorneys. He enjoys practicing in Windermere, Florida.
